Revamped the blog for SPRING! I am so ready for this winter to be over with. This morning while we were trying to soak up the last few minutes of sleep before the dreaded alarm all I could hear outside were the darn crows. But honestly I was happy to hear them, it means that spring is around the corner. Although I was not too happy to find they helped themselves to the yummy trash can…. They live to see another day..
I have been watching this vlog (video blog), 'I am only telling you in parentheses because I had no idea what it meant at first..'
Anyway, I have been watching this vlog called Daily Bumps on youtube, its great. It just about a young couple and their daily life with their little son Oliver. Its just like anyone else, they wake up, make Ollie some breakfast, maybe head to the park or target, back home again, play with the dog, maybe go for a swim and thats it. I thought.. What the heck. Why am I watching this instead of doing those things?! And then I thought, why not get back into blogging and then I can share my experiences, even if it just about breakfast and the cloth diapers I am thinking about buying. This blog is for me. If others read it great! but when its all said and done this is for me to record my journey so one day when I am old and wrinkly, I can whip out my Apple Watch and look at all the neat things I did with my family.
Speaking of FAMILY! Our family is growing by 1 this summer! After 9 months of trying we are finally pregnant with out first Little Lenfestey and we could not be happier! I am 17 weeks along and very happy to be in the second trimester. The "morning" sickness was all day during those first few weeks and I was so drained from growing a little human I would go to bed by 7:30 pm most nights. Now I have regained some energy.. not enough for the mountain of laundry.. but I can get dinner on the table and maybe knit a few rows of something for the baby. As of right now we will be keeping the gender a secret. I have already had so many people ask what we are having. I just keep saying, A baby :) What an amazing gift we are receiving, I refuse to peek! There are not many surprises left in life and this is an exciting one!
We are also moving to a new home in Jonesboro in May. We are so blessed to have such great sellers to be working with, we are able to afford this beautiful 3 bedroom home with so much character and raise a family there. Michael grew up in Jonesboro so it feels amazing to have it go full circle and now our children will experience the same. We are currently cramped for space and cannot wait to get out this spring and spread our wings. It will be stressful at first being 6 1/2 months pregnant moving into a new home and trying to "nest". But we have lots of support and I know everything will get done before this baby comes and adds so much love and joy to our lives.
It feels great to be back on the blog again, I have missed this outlet and hope to capture my this amazing journey I am on.
